We
celebrated Kenny's
B-day on
Friday April 14th Dee and Hans, Ron Llinas, Dave Raynor, Dave
Noran and me gave Kenny a final hurrah and birthday send off as
it was his last night at Provinces. Kelly sang with me. Tam and
Keith and a lot of other people joined in to celebrate Kenny and
the fourteen years we spent together. Piper and Brian were even
there. Brian wrote a great cocktail recipe book that I would love
to buy. JB took pictures so I have a lot of
work to do to sort through them but that will be another day.
Thanks for the memories. Thanks to the musicians for being there.
One night at
Provinces. April 8th I was joined
by John Matthews percussion, John Coffey saxes & Jimmy Culler
basses & vocals and what a
magical night. Eating reheated dinner left overs and going
wow. I not only got to see and hear the music but be a part of
it. I am blessed.

Jimmy Culler, the big dipper, long time friend and accomplished Bass
player has been there through thick and thin all these many years. Everybody
wants Jimmy in their band.

Dale
"Manolito" Fuentes and I have been friends for decades
and I am always honored to play music with this world traveling
performer. Next year Andie and I hope to go down to Mexico when
he does so we can play some music together, drink some tequila,
and soak up the sun.
