It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser.

This new year is moseying along. Lots of different changes for so many people. It makes it easier to be grateful and thankful when you know we all go through the hard times and the good.

And blink and another month has passed and with so much snow and so many different types of weather, often in the same day, that I sit in silence. I was just thinking wasn't it just Monday a minute ago. Before I could focus clearly on that fact it was Tuesday. Another day filled with gratitude for still being here. The clash of the emotions keeps it interesting. Technology is so amazing and offers so many opportunities to connect to people around the world. It makes it challenging sometimes to connect to the people in the same room. Sometimes we need to shut it all down and just be.

The snow has been fun to play in with Kayden. We made a snow dragon and he made a snow boy, a little bitty one all by himself.

Josh continues to write amazing music. Aaron's song Isis soothes me often:
"Grandmother show me the way. I'm just a child down here."
Sarah Maria is back from here adventures in Italy and NYC and is composing music for a dance video.
Chani cranks out more amazing art and tattoo's than I can keep up.
Liz just got a promotion at her work and continues to be independent as can be.
Kayden blesses the days and nights with his kind soul and zest for life.
Andie is more lovely all the time and is ready for a change, a long time ago.
Me, I grew old when I wasn't looking, but in a good way, mellowed in time
young in spirit and fiercely loyal to my family and blessed with music.
Grand daughters Sariah and Anjali grow more radiant with the passing of days. Distance is the only thing that is difficult about being a grand papa.

I feel the tug in new directions. Last night I got a call around 11pm from Korea about licensing some of my music. I helped get licensing for another band to a company in Japan. I was so grateful this phone call was for me and not a search for some other musician I mention on my web site. Thank you.

I have also been introduced to someone with a knowledge of healing who I believe will help me let go of the past and move on in joy and gratitude and with my power to help others. Here is quote:
