There was one wonderful weekend at Provinces in November. It was great to have Sarah play and sing. What a treat and what a surprise. It was old home week with Rob and Mac. I was very happy that Bill came back in on Saturday night. Kathy kept me in requests when I fumbled. Jimmy and Manolito also kicked butt. Lots of good music and good company. People stayed until late. I am listening to Manolito blow to Trouble with Love. Maybe I will share a few MP3's. I wish we could get a release in Japan. I always thought that I might like to go there. One day at a time. I feel so full in my heart playing music. I am so ready to have a new CD. Giving away the last of the Room with a View CD's seems so strange. I am good at promoting other artists though. It is just tough explaining that Deirdre won't be performing at the shows. I am ready to not have to do that anymore. I am mostly there now. |

Mike Daily has made some new purchases for Studio 04; three new microphones,
a Presonus pre-amp and something else that I can't think of at the moment.
He got an industrial strength mike stand for his room mike and is making more
progress all the time. I plan on going over there to record some tracks for
a solo acoustic project. It will be good practice for us both. All I need
is a window of a few hours here and there that coincides with Mike's schedule.
Silent T Studio is mostly gathering dust at this time. It sure looks pretty
in there though. I do run the laptop in there to work on this and other web
sites. It is a good feeling spot that used to be Chani's room. It is nice
not to have tobacco spilled all over the place too. I like when the boys come
over and play music I don't care for cleaning up the mess but I guess that
is all a part of the routine.
Nov. 11 Happy Veteran's Day to me and all the others who served in the armed forces and lived to not talk about it. Many happy returns.
Nov. 1 No news is no news and
that's the news as November 1, 2005. It is now the 6th of November and the
news is the same. Everybody busy with their own lives. I don't know where
to find the time to work on music with my friends. Is there a way? I find
myself wondering what to do if I get asked to take a position in Bellingham.
I think I would do it but what a mess that would make of things in so many
ways. I remain open.
